Hi, need some help. For some reason my DVD player on my window XP will not play any dvd disc. When I put a disc in I get the following message

Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings.

I attempted to do what the message said and still it doesn't work. The player was working fine a couple of weeks ago. Not sure what happen.

Hello GaryinNewmnan.... Welcome to GeeksToGo, :) :) :)
Download free VLC Player and see if it works then. If so you may have a codec problem or your WMP is corrupt.
