Hi ya'll!! This Log on/Log off loop is killin me......heres how it happened (if it matters!!) My wife was doin her thing on the laptop, and it came up with 'updates' ready to download..she allowed it and when we next switched on the PC it now loads up vista/windows up to the blue screen with username and password...once selected the screen says 'welcome' then 'logging off' goes blank then back to username and password!!!! This is more frustrating than a frustrating thing, and now a tad worrying!!! If anyone can help or knows someone that can i'd be massively appreciative!!!!! Please....i await yr assistance!!!!!

Hello,

It's pretty ODD for a windows update to cause such a problem, I doubt it's the reason.

Now if you are not able at all to get into your windows.

Try booting up your pc in safemode, when there restore your pc to an earlier date ( before the update ) and see if that solves it.

cheers
