Is this true?

Kind of a general question.
What version are you looking at getting?
OEM or Retail?
Retail full version

Hey Major Payne just as a side note you linked to the

Estimated Retail Pricing (ERP) for upgrade license.

This site HERE has a little bit more pricing to compare the versions and the upgrade and full versions along with the WAU versions. The prices seem to be in line with what I have seen in most retail stores and online. :)

Mostly wanted to provide a link for comparison purposes, not for purchase. No one in their right mind would buy without shopping around...or shouldn't. Besides, I would expect upgrading is the way most people will go and the prices seem to be the same on both links.

I could have gotten Win 7 at NewEgg.com for $49.95 if I had wanted it. It's now back to regular price.

WOW great price :)
I have to wait till Feb to build my ne system and I thinking about making a dual if not a triple boot system with
Win 7 pro 64 bit
XP Pro 64 bit
Linux 64 bit

I agree that the comparison of the different versions along witht he price is going to play a big factor in what Vlad42 buys.

Decisions decisions :)
