A day before, virus camed into my computer, it was strange because it disabled my antivirus (Mcafee) and disabled my task manager, but I can easily open any other tools such as msconfig or registry editor. Virus disabled the services of Mcafee. I tried to start them but I got error "service could not start in timely manner..." I uninstalled Mcafee and I installed Avast, it installed successfully but I cant open it, when I double click the icon of avast nothing happens and same things happen when Mcafee was there. Virus also disabled the services of Avast, at last I formatted the partition and I re-installed windows. I am using Windows Xp. I searched much on the net but I didnt got much help. Just I want to know about that virus, what is the name of it and how can we get rid of it without formatting.... Thanks in advance,
