I am unable to run any malware tools

Last night, McAfee stopped working and then what appeared to be a Windows warning of a Trojan virus, and recommended buying their protection software for $$. So after not getting McAfee working, I instead installed spybot. It scanned and found 800+ problems. I had to stop it 1/3 way thru the scan. Selected fix problems, and it fixed 700 and unable to fix the last 100.

Can't start in any mode (safe mode, last configuration, etc)
when I re-start, just get the constant blue screen of death.

I can't find my Windows XP disc anywhere-- but it is a legal copy.

any suggestions?!?!?
