i need help

k, so my computer was given to me from a cousin. it had tons of viruses on it. i thought i removed all of them and i guess there was a corrupted part of the hard drive. the worse part was it cought the BSOD outta nowhere, then i fixed it, then i tried to upgrade to windows xp service pack 3 and now it gets the blue screen of death and it will not boot up in any safe mode. but i wrote down what the error code was on the blue screen, can you help me asap?

0x0000007E (0XC0000005, 0x8050ED8F, 0xF789E404, 0xF789E100)

i'd really appreciate your help
