Have updated to IE 8 and have some add-ons I'd like to remove, they may be left over from a tool bar which was problematic, or the google OR yahoo toolbars I removed from the previous version IE7?. It's a friends computer and the kids might open up the addons and have problems again.
JOSIESStartDetectorImpl Class (Not verified) Sun...
The computer is fine with Firefox, but even disabled I have a few problems with IE.
Thanks

You can't uninstall them through "Manage Add-ons"?

That function was not put into IE8, it's still on the wish list; perhaps there is a work around?

I did a search, there is information available; here are a few to start:

"How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8?"
http://support.micro...kb/957700/en-us

How to solve Internet Explorer 8 installation problems
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949220

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer 7 or Internet Explorer 8 after you install Windows XP Service Pack 3
http://support.micro....com/kb/950719/

When all else fails support<for install, setup & usage> is available by phone through Dec.31, 2009.

Let's consider the topic closed since I have an open ticket in another forum, and think I can get there from here. Perhaps this will help someone else with a similar problem.
Thank You
