What happens to a computer when Device Manager shows that Mass Storage Controller has no driver? Searched for one using both methods - computer and internet - no luck. There is no name brand listed for it. This computer had the black screen of death a while back and everything had to be reinstalled. It hasn't ran as well since then.

Also, the computer shows that one hard drive is almost full (10 GB) and the other is 65% full (160 GB) and shows very few files. When I tried to do a backup I realized that everything I thought I lost when it crashed was still on the computer although I have no way to access it. Computer froze after 5th disc on backup - now what?

Anyone have a solution?
