Firefox Malfunction

I prefer to use firefox over IE8, but it seems like I am having troubles.
As bad as it sounds, I love my facebook, but I can't seem to use it with FF now? I think it is a problem with Adobe Flash, because I can't do anyting with Farmville [I know, I know.. I should just delete the app! But I'm hooked on it]

I also notice when I open Firefox that my google screen is gibbled...
This image is of my google screen, and where it is that pale blue colour, it is supposed to be the blue plasma theme for google?

Any ideas? I've tried the Adobe uninstaller and then rebooting and re-installing Adobe Flash. Seems to work for IE8 but not FF???
