Hi, I am having problems in my Windows 7 as of today.

In last 5 hours, I've had 5 BSOD's.

111509-27331-01.dmp 15.11.2009. 15:04:19 SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x0000003b 00000000`c0000005 fffff880`0152658d fffff880`03758190 00000000`00000000 NETIO.SYS NETIO.SYS+2558d x64 C:\Windows\minidump\111509-27331-01.dmp

111709-23415-01.dmp 17.11.2009. 22:49:38 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000d1 00000000`00000068 00000000`00000002 00000000`00000000 fffff880`01653936 tcpip.sys tcpip.sys+53936 x64 C:\Windows\minidump\111709-23415-01.dmp

111509-27331-01.dmp 15.11.2009. 15:04:19 SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION 0x0000003b 00000000`c0000005 fffff880`0152658d fffff880`03758190 00000000`00000000 NETIO.SYS NETIO.SYS+2558d x64 C:\Windows\minidump\111509-27331-01.dmp

In BSOD I see message tcpip.sys, but when I installed BlueScreenView, I see ntoskrnl.exe as most mentioned file.

Any advices?

A few questions:

1) Do you have multiple firewalls or antivirus products installed?

2) Any hardware details?

3) You have probably already attempted this, but your network driver seems a possible culprit. I would definitely check for any available updates.

4) Try disabling QoS Packet Scheduler in your internet connection properties dialog box to see if this corrects anything. Sometimes ISPs will not allow this, however.

Hope this helps.

I have ESET smart security and Zone Alarm.

1. Zone Alarm was not working during this BSOD's. Trial has expired and program is closed.
2. Before all that BSOD's I changed ESET mode from "Automatic" to "Interactive" (where ESET asks me similar questions like Zone Alarm when some program trys to connect to internet.

Windows update does not offer any driver updates.

How can I easily disable QoS Packet Scheduler ?

Hey Keano,

Before trying the QoS settings change, I would recommend removing Zone Alarm (even if it is inactive), as its previously-installed NDIS may very well be interfering with ESET's firewall component.

1. Remove Zone Alarm from Control Panel > Programs and Features.

2. Download and run the Zone Alarm cleanup tool from Zone Alarm.

3. Be sure to reboot.

Next, test your conditions to see if you are still receiving the BSODs. If you are, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling ESET as well, as having two installed concurrently could have screwed up the LSPs.

Please let me know how things are going after that and we'll proceed with more troubleshooting if necessary.
