I have the Trojan-....Smitfraud problem. However, I think I'm in some deeper trouble as I have nothing else on my desktop! I cannot bring up the start button, nor do I have any icons on my desktop. I cannot even see the time that is normally in the bottom right corner. I am not great with computers, but can follow directions to a T. Please help!

I also looked on your start first page, but my computer cannot get on the internet. In my initial panic, I disabled my wireless connection, and have not been able to re-establish ever since.

Finally, I have attempted to save "hijackthis" on my hardrive using a floppy, but I get an error stating "Error performing inpage operation".
