i am using a p4 3.0 gig processor with 512 mb ram... n i wana upgrade it to 2gb is it possible .and what is the max size for my ram.

Try this to get the information you need.

Go to HERE and run the Crucial online scanner.
This will give you the exact memory configuration for your system. You do not have to buy the memory from there, but write down the information and if you need assistance in purchasing the upgrade memory GTG can assist with suggestions also.

Go to www.cpuid.com and download pcwizard. Pcwizard will tell you everything that's inside your computer (what type of RAM, motherboard information, etc...) And it's free.
