Hi, I've toyed with the idea also. Then I found out about sites like hulu.com and animefreak.tv so pretty much I can just choose and pick whatever I wanna watch from tv by just streaming episodes. There are a bunch more sites out there. try wwitv.com for something like 3000+ channels online for free.

There are a few I like,ReadonTV player and jlc internet tv are the two best ones though,IMO
