Unable to access Internet Explorer on slave computer

I finally got my computers connected on a wireless network, thanks for all the help!

but now IE doesn't work on the slave computer.when you click on the IE icon,the cursor turns to an hourglass for a second, then back to an arrow, but the window never opens.When it was working (last week), it would open 2 windows at a time and ie window would open when the computer started.
Master is Gateway-XP
Slave is IBM ThinkCentre-XP
