Did you try refreshing the list and make shure your rate/connection is set right in the options.

are the server pings high or what? Do you have a router?

The servers I'm getting are all below 60 - I have a router yes - I have tried refreshing the list and made sure that the options allow for all types of servers but no luck.

Any ideas?

Go to your Steam folder

its usually C>Prog. Files>Valve>Steam or C:>Prog. Files.>Steam

and find the file "platform.gcf. Delete the file. Then start up Steam again and let it download the file.

Also, try deleting your serverlist.Something file.

Hope it works, sorry this isn't clear but I'm not on a computer with Steam on it :tazz:

click the steam in your system tray and click settings, then click the tab that says internet and set your connection speed. Once i did that, i got a full list of servers.

None of this has worked - however I have also noticed when using media player to watch clips they need to keep buffering - could there be a problem with my conection or would they be two different issues?
