My problem started with Windows screen coming up then going to Safe Mode option screen

Safe mode freezes at mup.sys line

Inserted Recovery disk, pressed R for recovery, HP screen loads goes to blank pale blue screen

I do not have a windows CD, so I followed the following instructions:

If you don't have Windows CD...

Download Windows Recovery Console: http://www.thecomput...om/files/rc.iso
Download, and install free Imgburn: http://www.imgburn.c...hp?act=download
Using Imgburn, burn rc.iso to a CD.
Boot to the CD...let it finish loading.
When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console.

Windows setup loaded, pressed R - message setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.

Ran system diagnostic, primary disk diagnostic returned a #2-07 Fail

Is there anyway to get a disk repair option?

A 2-07 Fail error would suggest the drive's on the way to being totally toast. Best thing is to replace it.
