Trying to stream Hulu, video stutters in full screen mode

I tried to stream a SNL video from Hulu today and had problems with it streaming in full screen mode. When I took it out of full screen mode it was fluid. Could this be a problem with my video card? Not enough memory? CPU speed?? I appreciate any help.

Computer details--

Compaq Presario SR1222NX in a HTPC Case
(5) 1 TB HDD
4gb RAM
Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 2.93 GHZ
Xplosion sound card
