Hi,

Recently infected with one of the newer variants of the vundo trojan.

Ad-Aware not helped significantly,
AVG and online Trend Micro scans failed to remove file.
Symantec vundo.b removal tool fails to remove file (in safe mode)
Have been reading around, have tried the various methods of automated removal of registry keys and using killbox to get the .dll but all to no avail.

Wondered if the fact that it's on a Win98 system may be the problem - all the fixes I've seen so far appear to be for XP and 2000.
Can't get the infected machine onto the net, or run the dos prompt from within windows without it hanging.

Thanks in advance if you can help, this one's supposedly quite resilient.
