I am unable to connect to the internet on the one hard wired computer in my house. I have a wireless router and am able to connect to the internet on both my laptop and the other desktop in the house. I have tried to ipconfig/all and received the message:

Windows IP Configuration
host name..:Ferris
Primary dns suffix......:
Node Type: unknown
IP Routing Enabled......:No
WINS Proxy enabled....: No

Ethernet adapter
Media state..........Media disconnected

Tried to repair connection and received the message that it could not complete the following action: clearing DNS cache
