althogh i do live in the south we usually keep it pretty cool inside around 60. and to answer the other question i have 27.9 gigs with 16 still free. its 792 mhz processor. and it happens with even the smallest of games, where htere is practicly no animation, so it is not the games.A quick glance at your log doesn't show anything suspicious. It could be overheating (it's summer are your room temps high?). Could also be some other hardware issue.
thanks

have you run a memory test to make sure that your memory is working fine?
Installation
===============
Memtest86 is a stand alone program that cannot be executed under windows and must
be loaded from a floppy disk.
To install Memtest86:
- Extract the files from the zip archive
- Open the directory where the files were extracted and click on "install.bat".
- The install program will prompt you for the floppy drive and also prompt you to
insert a blank floppy.
- To run Memtest86 leave the floppy in the drive and reboot.
NOTE: After the boot floppy has been created you will not be able to read the floppy
from windows. This is normal.

Yes, you're going to have to edit your BIOS so that the floppy drive is first in the boot order.is the program supposed to automaticly begin with start up??
