My compaq computer (not sure of make and model) has just today decided to crash on me. After arguing with it for a while I decided to reset it, but however once I did it wouldn't even reach the blue log in screen (Operating system is xp). It turns on, asks me how I want to log in (safe mode, etc.) and no matter which choice it restarts. I am wondering what I would need to do to fix this (as I am attributing this problem to a virus/anomaly of some sort.
