Hi! My computer has been acting up lately (freezing a bit too much, and also it seems that it cannot hold a charge lately)...but I was wondering how to wipe my hard drive? It's been like this for a little while now and I can't take it anymore! Please help

It's called formatting, you basically remove every bit of data on your hard drive and start with everything from scratch. There are tons of guides on how to format online but if you're inexperienced I would recommend that someone else does the procedure.

Charge as in battery> laptop?
Can you supply make and model of your system?
Can you also do the following and supply the log please.

Download and install Free Everest Home Edition
Open it.
1: In left pane expand Computer folder.
2: Click once on Summary
3: In upper menu, go Report
4: And then to Quick Report-Summary
5: Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.
Click the + by computer, click on Sensor. Get a screenshot and post it so I can check your temps and voltages...

DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING UNDER THE LINE THAT SAYS "DEBUG- PCI"

OK what you need to do is access the recovery partition.
To do this you have to start the system and at the Hp window I think you have to click either F2,F10 or F12 to enter the recovery partition.
Once you are in you click on [Recovery[/b]. It may have two options
Full Recovery or Non Destructive Recovery
First option is a full recovery which will format and reinstall everything back to factory settings.
The second is like a repair installation.
