Hey,

This is my first post, but basically I bought a new HP laptop and its great but i cant play the games i want to play e.g Arma 2 ( which i can actually play but on stupidy low graphics settings and the FPS is rubbish so it's not worth playing. But i was wondering if anyone could tell me about exernal graphics cards.

These are my questions:
1) would I be able to plug an external graphics card into my laptop?
2) would there be any external graphic cards that would let me be able to play games like Crysis 2 or Arma 2?
3) How much would a good external graphics card cost that would be able to meet my requirements.

It would be great if someone would help me cheers

1) No.
2) There is no such thing as an external graphics card, the power and throughput that these needs is too great.
3) There isn't one. You cannot upgrade graphics on a laptop.
