i have a DVD RW drive(LG retail unit),that came with Nero burn software, which is supposed to do all discs-from CD-r to DVD+RW, no blue ray, it does burn the DVD+rw discs i have, and the CD-R discs i have, anyway, it doesn't read the discs-which are new untouched and not burned Maxell DVD+r discs, the burning software shows the disc is not blank, but when opened, there is nothing on the disc and they were new 1 yr ago .Nero express essentials shows the disc is not empty-install blank discs. is there an age time limit on burnable discs? what can i do to use these new or untouched discs?

well, i found that some of them work, go figure ,so maybe a few are corrupt somehow?
