i got the iso. from MSDNAA...a website with software i am allowed to get from my skool for majoring in technology

Burn the .iso file to a CD, using ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.c...hp?act=download and install the program.

i tried to do that but the file is too big for the cd. the size of the visual studio 2008 is 3.30 GB and my cd is 700 MB, how will i do that?

what is the difference between cd-R and the dvd? its size?

No, CD is CD, DVD is DVD.
Don't you rent movies on DVDs?

CD holds only up to 700MB of data, DVD holds up to 4.7GB.
