I have completed through step 2 from this recommended cleaning:

There are three system files that were moved to the Avast "chest" and Im trying to figure out what to do next. I dont see a "repair" option and I cant delete as they are system files. Do I just leave them in the "chest" as is, or am I missing some way to repair them?

I think you will find they are backups of system files in case they are required to do repairs

When you select the virus chest only look in the "infected files " section - are they there ?
