jlcollet,
We need to rerun a few things.
Please read through these instructions before proceeding:

First Download CWShredder
And save it to your desktop.
Close all open browser windows and any other open windows.

Install CWShredder, then:

Open CWS and click Check for Updates
Then click "FIX"
Close the program.

Please download the trial version of Ewido Security Suite here:
http://www.ewido.net/en/download/
Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please download Nailfix from here:
Nailfix.zip
Unzip it to the desktop but please do NOT run it yet.

Next, please reboot your computer in SafeMode by doing the following:
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.
For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site:
SafeMode Help

Once in SafeMode, please double-click on Nailfix.cmd.
Your desktop and icons will disappear and reappear, and a window should open and close very quickly --- this is normal.

Then please run Ewido, and run a full scan. Save the logfile from the scan.

Now scan with HijackThis and place a checkmark next to the following items:

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [pzlhdjx] c:\windows\system32\quxcsy.exe

Close all open windows except for HijackThis and click Fix Checked

Using Windows Explorer Find and remove the following folders/files if found:

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe <-- File
C:\windows\system32\quxcsy.exe <-- File

Restart your computer in normal mode and please post a new HijackThis log, as well as the log from the Ewido scan by using Add Reply

Thanks,

jlcollet,
OK..

Download CleanUp
Install the program, dont run it yet, we will later.

Next

Let make sure there are not lingering files.

Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop: http://forums.net-in...=post&id=142443

1. Unzip/extract the files inside to a folder on your desktop.
2. Open the folder and run FindIt's.bat and wait for notepad to open a text file. It may take awhile so please be patient ...
3. Then post the results here along with a new HJT log by using Add Reply

Thanks,
rstones12

We have a few things left to do.

Please submit and upload this file to the following online scans:

C:\WINDOWS\TSC.EXE

Jotti

In your next post copy and paste the results from those scans, these scans wont take that long.

Next

Scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to the following items:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UIUCU] C:\DOCUME~1\JEAN-L~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\UIUCU.EXE -CLEAN_UP -S

Close all browsers and open windows except HJT the click the Fix Checked button.

Using Windows Explorer find and remove the following folders/files if found:
These files will be located in your:
C:\WINDOWS\system32

jlcollet,

OK a few things and we should be able to wrap this up.
Please read through these instructions before proceeding.

Enable show hidden files and folders:

* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

Now using Windows Explorer find and remove the following folders/files if present.
C:\WINDOWS\TSC.EXE <-- File

Start CleanUp
When CleanUp starts go to the Options button (right side of CleanUp screen)
Uncheck cookies
This is optional, if you leave the box checked it will remove all of your cookies, at this point removing cookies is a good idea.
Click OK
Then click on the CleanUp button. This will take a short while, let it do its thing.
When asked to reboot system select No
Close CleanUp

Reboot and post back a new Findit log and a HJT this log by using Add Reply

Thanks,

Seems also that you already succeed removing some unwanted malware as Aurora is not appearings since a couple of days!
Thanks

May I ask you about two points:
1) what are your advice to avoid to get these Aurora, nails, & other malware?
2) which spyware do you recommend the usage? (I want to protect my computer but also remove the spyware you told me to use to remove the spy which are not usefull anymore)
Thanks again for everything and for your advice
Bonne journee

jlcollet,
Nice job, your log looks good.
Just one item to do...

Using Windows Explorer find and remove the following folders/files if found:
These files will be located in your:
C:\WINDOWS\system32

SBAudigy.ico

Run the CleanUp program...
Reboot your system.

Here are some tips, to reduce the potential for spyware infection in the future, I strongly recommend installing the following applications:

Detect and Remove Programs:
  • How to use Ad-Aware to remove Spyware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Ad-Aware.
  • How to use Spybot to remove Spyware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Spybot. Similar to Ad-Aware, I strongly recommend both to catch most spyware.
Prevention Programs:
  • Spywareblaster <= SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed.
  • Spywareguard <= SpywareGuard offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts.
  • IE/Spyad <= IE/Spyad places over 4000 websites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (Cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
  • MVPS Hosts file <= The MVPS Hosts file replaces your current HOSTS file with one containing well know ad sites etc. Basically, this prevents your coputer from connecting to those sites by redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 which is your local computer
  • Google Toolbar <= Get the free google toolbar to help stop pop up windows.
Other necessary Programs:
  • AntiVirus Program<= An AntiVirus program is a must! Whether it is a free version like AVG or Anti-Vir, or a shareware version like Norton or Kapersky, this is a must have.
  • Firewall<= A firewall is definatley a must have. Two good free versions are Sygate and ZoneLabs.
  • More Secure Browser<= Internet Explorer is not the most secure and best browser. There are safer and better alternatives available. I recommend Firefox, however Opera is OK as well.
Be sure to also keep up with Windows and IE updates.

Windows security and critical updates.

Internet Explorer security and critical updates.
http://www.microsoft.../ie/default.asp

And also see TonyKlein's good advice
So how did I get infected in the first place? and AntiSpyware Net's spyware article: Spyware, Adware, Malware: What it is, how it got on my computer, how to get rid of it, and how to prevent it.

Thanks,
