Is there anything out there that I can install and update on my older puters that still have Win98(Version 2) on them?

Clamwin is about the only one left. It has no real time (run in the background) protection and has to be updated manually but it still works on 98 and it's free.

Like hawklord said, Avast still supports it, but I think BitDefender does as well. (not sure though)

In case you would use clamwin, you can combine it with WinPatrol, it will 'guard' your computer from modifications. (not as well as an Antivirus)
