ATI HD Audio rear output no sound

I'm having trouble getting sound to my brand new razer Piranha headset. I had a USB Plantronics headset which is broken now. I've tryed everything i could think of + googled the issue-no luck. Can anyone help?

(I've checked for newer drivers, volume window in toolbar shows ATI HD Audio rear output as where the sound should come from,(with Plantronics it had Plantronics headset as a option to choose from)Options>Advanced Options is greyed out, Device manager shows that everything is working fine, Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices Properties states ATI output as the only one)
