I was having problems with my Vaio laptop and one day when I turned it on it went into system restore mode. I managed to recover all my files then with the use of my Windows XP disk (as I didnt have my Vista disk), I rebooted the PC to factory settings.

Since then the laptop has been fine. I have upgraded the Vista Business to SP2 and as well as downloading my Office and Photoshop, I have downloaded the latest MSN Messenger.

When I try to install MSN MEssenger, the progress stays at 0% and goes nowhere. I have closed all programs etc but still no joy. Does anyone know what the problem might be? I have Zone alarm, clamwin and superantispyware installed. I checked Zone alarm and ensured msn was not being blocked.

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks
