I cannot open my IE browser, gets hijacked and brought to a www.startsearches.net webpage, then www.dofinder.com which has a DNS error that looks fake, listing products to fix this problem.

Have run Ad-Aware SE (after tweaking to specs on malware read this page) several times, but hasn't resolved issue.
Removed Security Iguard from add\remove programs.
Ran Killbox on the following items:

My background tab from display properties is also missing??

The program listed above cleared out this problem very nicely.
