I've been using the same DSL service for awhile now, and i'm just not asking to see if I can speed it up myself somehow. I'm not sure what speed it is, if someone can tell me how to find out I will. But I only get about 55-61kb/s downloading just about anything. And at times through the day, it will randomly disconnect, sometimes having trouble reconnecting for awhile.

Any help or info would be great, i'm sorry I don't have more info to give about the DSL. I have a Linksys router though aswell.

What speed do you get here: http://www.speedtest.net/
What is your ISP advertised speed (look at your bill)?

Well, we need to see from your bill, what you're paying for.
Your test results don't look good, because normally download speed is several times bigger, than upload speed.
I'd call your ISP.

I did a speed test on my ISP's website, and the results were about 560kb/s download and upload. But next to those, it said the transfer rate was about 62kb/s for each. It's always been this speed, I hope this isn't normal for my service.

I can't tell you before we know, what speed you're paying for.
