Ok I just put in a new sound card, sound blaster x-fi xtreme audio, and now when I play sound it skips.
I have the latest drivers. I turned hardware acceleration to none, witch seemed to help a little but it still skips.
My comps sound before was integrated and that stopped working, so i cant test it. Im on windows XP. If you need any other info as.

Thanks for any help.
