So I just put a new computer together (AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz, 2 GB RAM, 320 GB HD) ASUS MOBO). Everythign is up and running and im using the stock fan. I wanted to know what average or good cpu temperatures are for this cpu. RIght now my cpu is showing 46 C/ 114.5 F... Is this in an acceptable range?

That temperature will be just fine, but if you want to get it lower, you could try an upgraded heatsink, fan and some Artic 5 thermal paste. I found this with a quick google search.

The Athlon II X4 620 is designed using a 45nm manufacturing process on a die size of 169mm2 and has approximatly 300 million transistors. The maximum TDP of the processor is 95 watts with a voltage range of 0.925v to 1.425v and a maximum operating temperature of 71C degrees.
