Hey,

I just installed avast on my pc tonight and when i went to reboot, windows wouldn't fully load. It seemed to get stuck performing the startup tasks. So i restarted it, to see if it would reboot properly the 2nd time but it didn't. it still gets stuck with the startup tasks. And now the mouse turns into the hourglass icon if i go over the start bar. task manager wont come up either and the only way to get it to restart is to hit the master power button on the power supply at the back.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks.
