I have a Acer 5630EZ laptop running Vista home and a Custom PC with Win 7 and XP Home duel boot.
The PC is connected to an Orange livebox via earthnet cable and the laptop runs wireless.
My problem is that I can't get the laptop to see the PC or the other way round.
I would like to access my PC Win 7 and XP from my computer but I can't get it to work.
I have file shareing on and and set up a home network but they just don't see each other.
I will admit that networking is not my strong point.
Obviously I'm doing something wrong, I would be happy if I could get Win 7 to see the laptop.

After some more playing around I have managed to get the laptop to see and access the PC but while the PC can see the laptop I can't acsess it, I keep getting is not accesable.
"You might not have parmission to use this network resource. Contanct the administrator of this server to fined out if you have access permisions"
"Login failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon at this computer"
Am I missing somthing?
