Steam wont install to my computer.

Ok ive just installed XP using Nlite nliteos which basilcy allows you to get rid of all the stuff that you dont need that comes with XP.

but now ive done that ive installed drivers, games and msn onto it so far and its all working ok but steam comes up with a error message saying "this product can not be installed to the system directory" what do i do :S.
