I have repeatedly tried to install 2 important updates which relate to Microsoft .NET Framework and the installations KEEP failing (KB951847 & KB974417).
This has been going on since 22 April 2009, and there have been literally DOZENS of attempted installs, all of which have failed.
I have attached a list of everything already installed on my (elderly) Windows XP SP3 PC relating to Microsoft .NET Framework, so you can see what DID install ok.
I don't know what else I can do to make these 2 updates install. My PC has been sending error reports to Microsoft by the dozen, but the problem STILL exists, so I guess Microsoft aren't going to fix anything! Very annoying as this PC has the full package MS XP Home Edition installed, not an illegal copy or even O.E.M. version!
