Logging USB devices and CD/DVD devices

I'm looking for a software solution that will log USB devices such as external hard drives and USB thumb drives, as well as information burned to DVD or CD. I don't neccisarily need it to block the use of these things as I can already do that via group policy. Any Suggestions?
