Hi im planning to get a Evga Geforce 6600Gt and its a pci expres and im wondering if my motherboard supports it here is my motherboard http://ecsusa.com/pr.../pt800ce-a.html so reply and tell me if it is supported

Hi Clutch,

No your board does not support pci express only AGP.

sorry to tell you, but no it doesnt. pci express ports are a little bigger in size than a pci port and run at 16x instead of ur agp 8x. i really wanna help u out but i can only find gefore 6600 (not gt) and 6800 gt or ultra in agp. u might try going to the evga site and looking there.

heres a 6800 from newegg.com in AGP.
most cards are available in both formats these days, so just look around a little. I have heard lots of good things about the 6600GT you mentioned also, and they can be had in AGP.
