As to why it still runs, it depends how critical it is to the device's functionality. You may find it works now but you put it under load (such as a game for example) and you may find it corrupts like there's no tomorrow.

Okey, i undersand that it's broken, but it's still able to work and it'a time qwestion when it gona ''blow up'' :)

But i'm playing games like nfsmw and bf2 and there the graphic are wery strong and it still runs..

Can it be repaired or i need a new one >?

Not worth fixing. You can get better cards than that anyway.

Its just a matter of time before it fails completely or it leaks far enough to corrupt and short the other components.
