I apparantly had a corrupt profile. When I rebootedd it logged me into a temp profile. I thought that I had just lost my desktop items and didn't realize I was under another profile. I found the folder I was looking for and copied it to the desktop of my temp profile. When I rebooted, it opened in my original profile and I lost the folder and contents that I had copied to the temp folder. How do I find those items?
