unable to open file .wmv file with windows media player

it says "files does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. create an association in the Folder Options control panel". this happens to all my .wmv file. any solutions please?

try right clicking on the file...one of the options from the drop down menu will allow you to select the program you want to use...select windows media player..click OK
