Whenever I start my computer I get a message that says to select proper boot device and reboot. I enter bios and tried to set C: as the first priority boot device, but it's not on the list. When I enter Fastbuild, it says no disk is detected and flashes. What do I do? java script:emoticon(':tazz:')

I'm on XP. I took apart the computer, I think it was a loose jumper cable; its working now.
