I installed a new 80gig HDD in my Acer Aspire 9500 laptop.

Installed so far is Windows XP SP3, Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware.
I ran Anti-Malware, it found nothing.
I was trying to get all pc protection software from the web.

Still need Spyware Blaster, Super Anti-Spyware, Avast Anti-Virus,
TFC, and Comodo Firewall.

During my travels I must have pickup a virus or something.
on every boot the acer goes to chkdisk and starts making Found files.

I can't get on the internet or use the Acer pc at all.
I can't get any of the programs You use to figure out my problem into my acer.

I'm using a dell latitude 600 to write this problem to you.
but the cd drive only plays cds.
It won't write a cd. Its A Samsung 124 cd player in this dell pc.

I'd liked to Reformat and reinstall Windows XP SP3 in the Acer but
my usb mouse/touchpad are frozen. No mouse. i use the limited keyboard.

Acer will go to Safe Mode & WindowsXP. I just can't use my Acer recovery CD's
the pc does not see the cd drive.
