hi there,

I'm running windows XP service pack 2
and every time my laptop goes on shutting down, restart , and even a standby mode, it shows a blue screen for a second and suddenly restarts.

I've done a Avast Scan it shows nothing running on XP, and when i schedules a boot scan it shows that my hyperfil is infected, and cannot be repaired, or deleted or whatever.

what can I do, I do not want to re-install the operating system , can anyone help me with this.

I suggest you go to the Malware Removal and Spyware Removal Forum and run all the steps located in the
START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own.
If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post the reguested logs in THAT forum.
If you are unable to run any of the tools then start a new topic in the malware forum and put this in the subject line...I am unable to run any malware tools

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

well, some of the links are not working. (just the 1st and the 2nd links are working)

and I've read the (Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, Please read before starting a new topic)

malwareBytes shows no infections on the scan, panda security, avira anti-virus, ESET antivirus, spybot , show nothing as well.

I've performed HIJACKTHIS and it shows an undefined operation, that I disabled every time, and it comes back when the system start all over again.

the same happens with registry booster, with the start up, it locate a registry error within the system, and repair it, and it's here again next time I start up my computer.

and I've performed all the check but the (OTL) one, I'll perform it now, and set the whole logs to a new post on the (Virus, Spyware and Trojan Removal) form.
