halo 1 crash

My first post on these forums and well my halo crashes at start up.I click on halo it got the small halo box then screen goes black like usual then it quits and erases my desktop background and replaces it witha blue background. so i go to properties on the halo icon and type -window to move into window form and that works so is it my video cardor something?

What are the specs of your PC?
If you don't know then please download and run SysSpec. Run the file > click edit > click copy to clipboard and then paste it with your reply.
