Topic one:
Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool

I have not DLd this automatic update, is there any reason I should/shouldn't?
What do you geeks think about this? I have been happy with avast! and SUPERAntiSpyware.
I have also been happy with Malware Bytes and mostly happy with Comodo Firewall.
(I am very interested in the avast v5 that will come with a firewall of its own.)
DO I really need another Microsoft-Windows program on my computer? I'd rather not.

Topic two:
*DELETED as per Logos' suggestion on another forum*

Thanks in Advance for answering my question. I really value the Geeks to Go opinion.

The WMSRL is not anti-virus software on its own, all it does is tell you if you've got one of about a copy of dozen mainstream virii on the run at the moment, purge it and that's all it does.
