My PC bluescreened at last shut down. I was not at the machine when it did this so I don't know what the message was. Now when I power on I get one long beep, two short beeps and it hangs with the light on the A drive and goes no further. Any ideas or am I screwed?

The machine you have? is it a clone machine? By that I mean a machine that has been custom built by you a friend etc or is it a branded PC e.g dell, compaq etc

The series of beeps actually tell you what the problem is, can you tell me what what the make and model of your pc is?
