I am cloning my old drive, with win xp sp2, to my new drive. and when It try to boot from the new drive the boot freeses with a blinking cursor at top left.

tryed fixboot, fixmbr, restore but to no avail. My old drive still works and boots just fine, what is wrong with my bran new drive?

Is windows protecting itself from being copied?

Yep! We're so good we don't even have to show up to get em fixed. :)

Thanks for sharing how you resolved the problem.

Nicely done.
